IN MEMORY OF MY BROTHER

WHERE DID TIME GO MY BROTHER

Where did the time go my brother,
Your life was cut to short that day.
Your spirit deep within my heart softly whispers you're not so far away.
Emotions are difficult as I go the father this day.

Where did the time go my brother,
Your memories fill my soul.
Your love surrounds me,never forgotten, never will it fade.
Fond memories live within,Tis God's many blessings my friend.
Low and behold deep sadness filled that day,
I lost my brother my dearest friend all because of sin.

Where did the time go my brother,
shall we softly speak?
I pray God holds you in his arms, let's you know you will be forever loved.
My emotions are as the mountains tall and steep,
We'll share our joys and our pain, even while you sleep.

Where did the time go my brother,
I have been so blessed to have known you
A brother with so much love and tenderness.
Finally you have the freedom that you always dreamed of.
United with your father on heaven's golden streets.
I will morn you everyday, until my life on earth is complete.

he ain't heavy, he's my brother

The road is long
With many a winding turn
That leads us to who knows where
Who knows where
But I'm strong
Strong enough to carry him
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

So on we go

His welfare is of my concern
No burden is he to bear
We'll get there

For I know
He would not encumber me
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

If I'm laden at all
I'm laden with sadness
That everyone's heart
Isn't filled with the gladness
Of love for one another

It's a long, long road
From which there is no return
While we're on the way to there
Why not share

And the load
Doesn't weigh me down at all
He ain't heavy he's my brother

He's my brother
He ain't heavy, he's my brother
