“And the hand of the Lord was with them; and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.” Acts 11:21 (KJV)
We can give Jesus our problems with other people, with work, with money or whatever you may think of. Once we place things in Jesus hands, something miraculous happens. Jesus turns our misery into ministry; our hate into happiness, our disappointment into delight, our tears into triumph, our troubles into treasures, our hurt into healing, our pain into praise and our test into a testimony. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Think of the word HANDS as an acronym when you need Jesus to touch the situations in your life:

H – andle

A – any

N –eed

D – irectly

S -ubmitted

I can depend on Jesus to Handle Any Need Directly Submitted to Him in prayer. We need to make our prayer requests known to God in order for Him to help us. I know I can call on the Lord and He will help me in the time of trouble. Psalm 27:5 (KJV) says, “f or in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.” Put everything in Jesus' hands - He can and will handle it.
Here are three ways Jesus' hands are referenced in the Bible:

Human Hands
While on earth we know that Jesus worked with his father Joseph as a carpenter. In Mark 6:3(KJV) the question is asked of Jesus, “is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda and Simon?” Jesus' hands were probably strong, rough and filled with callous from years of working with wood. He understood about working with His hands for a living. Jesus' natural job on earth as a carpenter taught Him the skill of building things. Today we see Jesus as a spiritual carpenter working in heaven building His church, repairing broken hearts and lives. All it takes is one touch from Jesus to bring about new hope for a new beginning in our lives.

Helping Hands
We can find many examples in the Bible of Jesus giving people a helping hand. One example is when Peter his disciple walked on the water. Peter sees Jesus walking on the water and starts walking toward Him. Then Peter starts to sink. Matthew 14:31(KJV) says , “and immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” Jesus is always available and eager to give a helping hand in any circumstance that we may face in life.

Divine Hands
Jesus used his hands in performing many miracles. In the Bible we can find accounts of Jesus touching the lepers, the blind eyes and the lame to bring instant healing. One example is in Mark 1:41 (KJV) where we find Jesus heals a leper “ moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him I will; be thou clean. “ Also, in Jesus' pre-incarnate existence, His hands created the world. Hebrews 1: 10 (KJV) says “and thou, Lord in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth and the heavens are the works of thine hand.” Jesus' hands have touched the foundation of our human existence.

Today we are Jesus disciples. He desires to use each of us as an anointed channel to minister to lost souls. As Christians, we are Jesus' hands to be used as vessels to complete His mission on earth. Since Jesus needs our hands, we sometimes need to ask ourselves if we are allowing our hands for Jesus to operate freely in our lives? We bind Jesus hands if we do not witness and tell others about His goodness. We must not lose our focus and purpose to win souls for the Kingdom of God .

However, if we loose Jesus' hands to operate IN us and THROUGH us then He can accomplish His Will to save, transform and use us for His Glory. When Jesus touches our lives, His hands remove the limits set on us and brings about a change. Jesus helps us to obtain our true potential to be effective in building the Kingdom of God .
If we keep our hands in Jesus, we have a blessed assurance of His protection. In John 10:28 (KJV) declares, “and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Let us stay in Jesus' hands and He will help us on our daily journey through life.
